Experience the magic of mixing your own colors and dying your own wonderful fabric. Dye a 12-step color wheel from just three basic colors. From there the sky is the limit.

We’ll talk about who developed the idea of Color Theory, how it works, learn some important terms and work on recognizing warm color families and cool color families. Get started on training your eye to combine great color combinations.

We will dye the color wheel using the immersion method and then we’ll go outside and experiment with other ways to dye fabric…drip, pour, squirt, table, parfaits, twisted fabric and pole wrap.

Come prepared to get messy and have lots of fun!!

$55 materials fee includes 3-2oz jars of Procion MX dye (take home what you don’t use), 8 yards of fabric, 6 plastic squeeze bottles and all the chemicals needed for the dying process.

*Very IMPORTANT- Arrive by 8am to cover floors and tables.
