KiDZQuilts are intended primarily for the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Some are distributed to antepartum mothers and needy families with older children by the NICU Coordinator, Laura Stutzman. The graduates of the NICU are given a quilt to take home, usually chosen by the mother. Within the NICU, our quilts are used to cover incubators as well as in bassinets for premature babies who can breathe independently.

We have a table at FKQG meetings where you can leave finished quilts as well as financial contributions, fabric, and batting.

Available here are guidelines, labels, tax deduction forms, calendars, as well photos of the NICU and finished quilts. From time to time free kits are available.
