Time: Social time is 6:15 - 7:00. Meeting start at 7:00

Gwen Marston

 

 Folk Art Applique

The ever popular Gwen has written several new books. At our meeting, she will speak on one of them, Lively Little Folk Art Quilts, (Published by C&T, 2006) with a lecture entitled “Folk Art Appliqué”. Gwenny promises to be as lively and interesting as always. Plus, we’ll probably get a few more tales about her life on Beaver Island.

“Tips and Tricks”

Sue has been quilting for over 20 years. Her major awards include 1998 AQS Best of Show for “The Beatles Quilt” made by Sue and her sister, Pat Holly. Their quilt, “The Space Quilt” won the 2003 IQA Master of Machine Artistry Award and the 2004 AQS Machine Workmanship Award.
