Executive Board Meeting

May 1, 2007

Present: Tena Davis, Cass Bowen, Sheri Cooper, Sue Hootman, Marlene Kurtz, Susan Ott, Linda Pearce, Jane Shannon

Old Business: Information on the Venice Art Quilt show has been added to the FKQG website.

New Business: Board members are submitting proposed revisions to our Guild Bylaws and Policy documents. Specific policy guidelines will be included in the revised FKQG policy document; the Bylaws will contain the more general guiding principles to be followed. Nancy Adams will review the final proposed version.

Committee Reports:

Treasurer: The Quilt Show financial report will be included in the newsletter.

Membership: The Guild currently has 272 members.

Library: Sue Hootman will try listing newly acquired library books in the newsletter.

Programs: The June program will be a workshop. In August Chi-Ke Moore, a Seminole quilter, will give a lecture and trunk show.

Education: The May classes will be held as scheduled despite low enrollment. The education committee will be meeting on May 16 to set the upcoming schedule.
