Friendship Knot past quilt shows

Members challenge rules

The quilt must incorporate the show theme, “Threads of Life”
The quilt must be an original creation and include the block, spinning spools (at left), in some recognizable form on the front of the quilt.
The finished quilt must be 24 x 24 inches – no more, no less.
The quilt must be given to Ann Greene, challenge coordinator, no later than the January meeting on January 17th, 2010. The quilts will be displayed at this event and Nancy Adams will take the quilts home from the event.
All entries must be accompanied by a challenge entry form.
All quilts submitted must be accompanied by a 3 x 5 card clearly printed with the quilt’s name and a description of the concept or idea used for its creation.
There must be a label on the back of the quilt containing your name, quilt title and phone number.
The quilts will be displayed for viewing at the January 2011 meeting by 6:30 PM. All members who attend the January, 2011 meeting will be given ballots to select their choices. Ballots will be handed out at the beginning of the meeting. No voting will occur before the meeting starts and ballots will be collected as members leave.
Votes will be tallied and the winner announced at the February meeting.
A quilt show team member will take the quilts from the January meeting and keep them for displaying in the show.
