Show Judge
Scott Murkin is a quiltmaker and quilt historian living in Asheboro, NC who specializes in original design wall and bed quilts.
Services available include:
• Custom original design quilts and fabric art of any size.
• Custom designed machine quilting of your quilt top.
• Quilt show judging as well as consultation on sponsoring a judged quilt show. National Quilting Association Certified Quilt Judge.
Scott has had his quilted creations appear in and win awards at numerous local, regional, national and international shows, many of which were juried. His original designs and patterns have also been published in more than 70 books and magazines. Scott’s quilts are represented in many public and private collections including Quilts, Inc., Randolph Hospital, North Carolina Zoological Society, Museum of the American Quilters Society, The Hunter Collection, Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum and the Fent Art Quilt Collection.
