The Guild offers a wide range of workshops at all levels of expertise and a variety of topics. Nationally known, and often published teachers, are featured during the “season” and talented local teachers are often scheduled in the warmer months.

During Guild meetings the workshop table will display information about the teacher and sometimes have a sample of the class project. Our website provides a link to the teacher’s website if there is one available.

Workshops are opened to non-member registrations 45 days before the class date. Take a class and enjoy the camaraderie of the membership and the wealth of knowledge our teachers have to offer. You’ll be glad you did.

Cost:
Full day: members $25; non-members $40
Half day: members $15; non-members $25

Location: Bahia Vista Mennonite Church
4041 Bahia Vista Street, Sarasota
(unless otherwise announced)
Click Location Map to go to Google Maps for details

Time:
All-day classes begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. Half-day classes are from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Please plan to arrive early prior to the beginning of class to allow enough time to set up your machine and your work station.

Registration:
To register for a class, complete the information on a class Registration Form and mail with payment to the address on the form.

Meals:
An optional catered deli-style lunch is available for all-day classes. The cost is $7 payable at the time of registration. Feel free to bring your lunch, snacks, and/or beverages as there is usually a refrigerator available.

Workshop Hostess:
Members can volunteer to be a hostess. Duties include serving lunch and refreshments, assisting the teacher as requested, and clean up. Contact Workshop Coordinator, Judy Schmalzreid, to volunteer.

Supply Lists for each class are available:
• On the FKQG website: www.friendshipknotquiltersguild.com
• FKQG monthly meeting at the Class Registrar's desk.
• By email
• By “snail mail” with paid registration (please include a business-size SASE)
